Try getting out of town just a bit and come on over to Burnaby! We’re located just a short 15 minutes away by rapid public transit. We’re close enough to get back to all you want to see in Vancouver, yet far enough away to be peaceful and more like Canada is meant to be. Have you ever seen an eco-sculpture before? It is an area of horticulture that is just catching on. It is called topiary and you can see it in our Central Park. It is using plants to sculpt into things instead of using metal or clay. In Burnaby, 25% of the area is green space so there is plenty of green to be enjoyed.
Maybe you are ready for a little more excitement? Come on over to Metropolis, British Columbia’s largest shopping mall. If that doesn’t create a little excitement for you there is still more to come! After wandering through the 450 shops at the mall and eating at the plethora of fine restaurants, take a little time for the food to settle and then come on over to Whistler!
Hang on to your hat as you ZIP from peak to peak on a series of zip-lines! Going through a series of 10 zip-lines, suspension bridges and platforms you can get an aerial view of the breathtaking landscape of Whistler.
