What Is So Special About The City of Burnaby?

The City of Burnaby, Canada is one of those special places that when you visit it. It is something you will long remember visiting for a number of special reasons. It is not only the third largest of all cities in British Columbia from a population perspective. But it is a wonderful place to travel to for a short getaway, business trip, or even a family vacation. Burnaby has a little bit of everything to appeal from the youngest to the oldest in age. Burnaby was originally incorporated in 1892 and achieved status as a city officially in 1992.

The City of Burnaby offers everything that people are looking for in a place to vacation. If you are seeking diversity in travel, as well as some entertainment and shopping. For those who love parks and lakes a great deal. This city is the ideal place to be. Some of Burnaby’s major parks and waterways are Robert Burnaby Park, Central Park, Burnaby Mountain and Deer Lake to name only a few.

Some of Burnaby, Canada’s tourist attractions include Burnaby Village Museum & Carousel and Metrotown. Burnaby Village Museum & Carousel sits on ten acres of land and has replicated buildings of a bygone era. These replicated buildings of shops, businesses and homes of a historic period. People dressed in costume greet visitors warmly and conduct demonstrations in the various buildings. There is also a replica of a 1912 CW Parker Carousel. Things to do here include a gift shop and ice cream parlor. Metrotown offers a wide array of things for the visitor from shopping to recreation activities to other accommodations.

Burnaby is more than just the bedroom community that is was back in the middle of the 20th century. While it will most likely never surpass Vancouver, either in population or in its level of development, there is a lot to like about this rather large city. Why Food Matters In Burnaby

So this has happened to you before: You decide to visit a city and you are beyond excited. There is so much to do and so much to see that you are counting the days until you find yourself in that wonderful city. Your stay is something else. You go to all the places you wanted and see all the things you were dying to see and it’s everything you could have wanted and more. Expect one thing doesn’t sit well with you: the entire time you were there you couldn’t get a decent meal. There are more than enough places to eat but it seemed every place you tried was just a boring meal or a meal that was downright unappealing. There was little to nothing about your trip that you were excited about when it came to the food.

So why was the food so bad? Why is it that you could spend a whole week in a wonderful city and not find a good meal and therefore you had to stick to boring fast food chains. So there are two reasons why your food wasn’t what you hoped it would be.

The first reason is that you didn’t do any research. There is no way of knowing if a place is good or to your specific liking just based on the way it looks from the outside. Even if there is a line around the block to get into a place doesn’t make it a great place to eat but yet you think it is so you go in and try it but it only leaves you disappointed.

The other problem was you asked strangers. This is a strictly hit or miss situation. There is no telling what kind of taste buds these people have plus you are basing all of your information and trust of a restaurant off of one persons opinion. What do the rest of the people think? That’s the key. Do research before you get to Burnaby and find that wonderful food awaits you.

Coming to the city of Burnaby means that you are going to spend a great week in one of the nicest and most fun filled cities in the entire world. There is a reason that it is one of the most admired cities in all of Canada. But there is one thing that you must be ready for when you head to Burnaby: you must be ready to eat. Something you don’t read about in the all the information about Burnaby is just how good of a food city to eat. You can start your journey into the food paradise by having a meal at the Hart House. There are good places to eat in Burnaby and then there is the Hart House. When you come to a great city like Burnaby you want to make sure that everyone about your stay is wonderful. There is no doubt that Burnaby has the kind of scenery that will have you raving for weeks on end.
