If Burnaby hasn’t crossed your mind as a place to visit then maybe you have been looking at Burnaby in the wrong way. Sure when you ask your friends and family about great places to go in Canada they will tell you that there is Toronto or perhaps they will mention Montreal and while these are great places to visit for sure you are missing out on the real hidden gem of Canada and that’s the great city of Burnaby.
So what makes Burnaby the city in Canada to visit? The fact is it’s a little bit of everything rolled into one. The first thing that stands out about Burnaby is the scenery. There are many cities home and abroad that give you a great view. Maybe your favorite city has gorgeous mountains that you can take in and can take your breath away or perhaps you are finding that your favorite city has a shore line that will beg for you to spend a day at the beach or city shore side at a cafe and enjoy the view. What makes Burnaby such a great city to visit is that it has both. It has the gorgeous mountains and it is offset with an amazing shore line. So what this does is make Burnaby a great place to visit all year round. When the weather gets warmer it does tend to make the shore line a little more pleasant but even if you come in the dead of winter you can still have one of the best times staring and taking in the amazing mountains.
A word of advice to those who are thinking of traveling to Burnaby: it would be best to come in the spring season. This doesn’t mean any other season is bad but since the weather never gets really “beach ready” you won’t have to worry about the shore line but still the best way to take advantage of both is to come in the early spring and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
